The RIMS Canada Council (RCC) is a standing committee of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS).  The RCC addresses the strategic initiatives of RIMS and risk managment issues in Canada.

Each of the ten Canadian RIMS chapter elects a board member to be their representative to the RCC.  The chairs of the RCC's three subcommittees, the National Education Committee (NEC), the National Conference Committee (NCC) and the Communications and External Affairs Committee (CEA) also attend RCC meetings.


















What is the RIMS Canada Council?

The RIMS Canada Council (RCC) is a standing committee of RIMS that addresses the Canadian activities and strategic initiatives of RIMS and risk management in Canada.

The RCC consists of elected representatives from each of the ten Canadian RIMS chapters .

The RCC liaises with RIMS Board of Directors, Committees and staff to enhance the activities of RIMS and risk management in Canada. The Council works to maximize the participation of Canadian risk managers on RIMS committees and the use of the RIMS structure in addressing Canadian risk management and RIMS issues.

The RCC currently has three subcommittees: the National Conference Committee, the National Education Committee and the Communications and External Affairs Committee.
